Sharp Industries PLC has emerged as the top company in terms of turnover on Thursday, August 20, the last trading day of the week, at the country’s premier capital market, the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE).
The information was disclosed by sources at the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE).
According to the data, shares worth Tk 20 crore 5 lakh 8 thousand were traded in the company on the day. As a result, the company secured the top position in the turnover ranking.
Techno Drugs Limited ranked second on the turnover list, with shares worth Tk 17 crore 55 lakh 22 thousand traded. Paramount Textile PLC ranked third, with shares worth Tk 16 crore 19 lakh 29 thousand traded.
Other companies on the turnover list included Sikder Insurance Company Limited, Runner Automobiles PLC, Southeast Bank PLC, Envoy Textiles Limited, IPDC Finance Limited, Malek Spinning Mills Limited, and Reliance Insurance Limited.
