October 1, 2026 (Thursday): Trading at the country’s premier stock market, the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), is underway with a positive trend in the key indices on the last trading day of the week. Turnover stood at Tk 328 crore in the first two hours of trading.
According to sources at the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), the market recorded the above turnover until 12:00 pm.
As of noon, the benchmark DSEX index gained 4.90 points to stand at 5,555 points.
Among the other indices, the DSES Shariah Index rose 2.27 points to 1,104.76, while the DS30 Index fell 1.52 points to 2,106.92.
Meanwhile, among the companies traded until 12:00 pm, share prices of 171 companies advanced, 124 declined, while 88 remained unchanged.
