On Sunday, August 23, the first working day of the week, trading at one of the country’s major stock exchanges, the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE), was underway with a positive trend in the price indices. In the first two hours of trading, turnover amounted to Tk 1 crore.
The information was revealed by sources at the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE).
According to the data, as of 12:00 noon, the benchmark CSCX index of the Chittagong Stock Exchange had risen by 33.34 points to stand at 9,464 points. Among the other indices, the CSE50 index increased by 5.01 points, while the CSE30 index rose by 79.08 points to stand at 1,113.59 points and 13,957.02 points, respectively.
As of 12:00 noon, among the companies traded, the share prices of 51 companies increased, while 45 declined, and the share prices of 21 companies remained unchanged.
