On Tuesday, August 18, the third trading day of the week, trading on one of the country’s major stock markets, the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE), was underway with a positive trend in the price indices. During the first two hours of trading, turnover amounted to Tk 9 crore.
The information was reported by sources at the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE).
According to the data, as of 12:00 PM, the CSE’s benchmark index, the CSCX, had risen by 25.80 points to stand at 9,545 points. Among the other indices, the CSE50 index declined by 0.19 points, while the CSE30 index gained 18.14 points, standing at 1,114.07 points and 13,990.10 points, respectively.
As of 12:00 PM, share prices of 75 companies had increased, while 37 companies had declined. Meanwhile, the share prices of 25 companies remained unchanged.
