Trading on the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE), one of the country’s major stock markets, is continuing with a negative trend in the key index on Thursday, August 20, the last trading day of the week. Turnover stood at Tk 4 crore during the first two hours of trading.
The information was disclosed by sources at the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE).
According to the data, as of 12:00 pm, the benchmark CSE index, or CSCX, had declined by 10.58 points to stand at 9,434 points. Among the other indices, the CSE50 index gained 0.44 points, while the CSE30 index increased by 0.18 points, standing at 1,108.32 points and 13,877.19 points, respectively.
As of 12:00 pm, share prices of 42 companies had increased, while those of 46 companies had declined. Meanwhile, share prices of 25 companies remained unchanged.
